Arrival at Suvarnabhumi Airport. Reception at the airport by your English-speaking guide, who will assist with your private transfer to the hotel. Enjoy some free time at leisure to rest and relax or explore the surroundings.

Departure by bus from the hotel for a guided tour with an English speaking guide through the main avenues of Bangkok until reaching the bustling Chinatown neighborhood, where we will make our first stop: the Wat Traimit temple, better known as the Temple of the Golden Buddha, which houses a 5-tonne image of Buddha made of solid gold, full of history, as it remained hidden for centuries after being covered in plaster to prevent its destruction during the war.

Our next stop will be the Wat Pho Temple or Temple of the Reclining Buddha, one of the largest reclining Buddhas in the world, measuring 46 metres in length and at whose feet we find a spectacular engraving of 108 images representing positive actions of Buddhism. Next, the impressive complex of the Grand Palace, the symbol of the city and former official residence of the King of Thailand between the 18th and mid-20th centuries, considered one of the most beautiful in the world for its exquisite decoration, mixing traditional Thai style with Renaissance influences. The visit to the Grand Palace includes a visit to Wat Phra Kaew or Temple of the Emerald Buddha, the most important temple in Thailand. On the way back to the hotel, visit the state-owned gemstone factory.

**To visit the Grand Palace, you must dress appropriately. No tank tops, bare knees, or flip-flops. Shoes must be removed to enter some areas of the temple.

Departing early in the morning with an English speaking guide. On the way there is a stop at MaeKlong market, 120 km from Bangkok is The Mae Klong Market, or Talad Rom Hub, in Samut Songkhram is a unique market set along active railway tracks. Several times daily, vendors pull back their goods and umbrellas to let a passing train through, then quickly resume business. Known as the “Umbrella Pull-Down Market,” it offers fresh produce, seafood, snacks, and local goods, blending local life with a fascinating tourist spectacle.

Then head to the Damnoen Saduak market in the province of Ratchaburi. Arrival at the Damnoen Saduak market. Longtail boats ride through the canals to see and experience the floating market where people sell their wares from boat to boat or boat to shore. You will be surprised by the wide variety of goods and products that can be purchased. Then, transfer to the hotel.

Visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep with an English speaking guide, the sacred temple with a challenging flight of steps which are flanked by Naga Serpents. Wat Chedi Luang, the site of a formerly massive pagoda that was unfortunately destroyed in the great earthquake of 1545; Wat Phra Singh, the lovely Lai Kam chapel houses the revered Phra Singh Buddha image. Wat Suan Dok is one of them, which dates back to the 14th century when it served as the pleasure gardens to the Thai monarchy. Nowadays it houses several white Chedi’s, containing the ashes of Chiang Mai’s former Royal family.

Drive to Elephant Eco Valley for an exciting experience with the Gentle Giant in the Valley of the national park. Feed the elephants herb ‘n’ fruit balls, bananas, and sugar cane. Learn about elephants in Thailand at the Elephant Culture Museum, the one and only in Thailand. Get info on herbal treatments, walk in the nature garden, and make herb ‘n’ fruit nutritional vitamin balls—the elephants love them! Watch elephants in water and a mud bath under a waterfall. (Or wash ’em yourself!). After lunch, transferback to the hotel.
