Embark on a journey that touches the soul of Laos. This 4-day escape begins with the sacred, silent ritual of the early morning alms-giving ceremony. You’ll cruise the mighty Mekong River to the Pak Ou Caves, a sacred grotto filled with thousands of golden Buddha statues. Stand in awe of the three-tiered, turquoise paradise of Kuang Si Waterfalls and swim in its refreshing pools. In the city, you’ll discover the “Temple of the Golden City,” Wat Xieng Thong, and admire its famous “Tree of Life” mosaic, before climbing Mount Phousi for a spectacular panoramic sunset over the city and mountains.
Arrival at Luang Prabang airport, where you will meet our guide and transfer to your hotel. Luang Prabang is considered the best-preserved colonial city in Southeast Asia. The tranquility and charm of this city, together with its splendid natural and cultural landscapes, make it one of the most enchanting places to visit in Laos.

This morning, embark on a traditional shared boat for a cruise along the Mekong River to the Pak Ou Caves, where thousands of golden Buddha statues of different shapes and sizes rest inside the limestone grotto—an impressive and sacred sight.
Continue by road to the Elephant Camp, a sanctuary for elephants rescued from hard labor and poor conditions in other provinces of Laos. Here, you can feed the elephants with bananas (at your own expense) and get to know these gentle giants up close.Lunch at a local restaurant.
On the way back, stop at Ban Xanghai Village, surrounded by lush green mountains and forests, famous for its traditional rice wine production.
Return to Luang Prabang. Overnight at the hotel.
Note: On certain days, the Royal Palace may be closed due to government or official events. In such cases, suitable alternatives will be offered.

The turquoise pools of Kuang Si Waterfall
After breakfast, begin your city tour with visits to the Royal Palace, the former residence of the kings of Laos, and the temples of Wat Sane and Wat Xieng Thong, one of the most beautiful Buddhist temples in the capital. Located between the Mekong and Nam Khan Rivers, it is also known as the “Temple of the Golden City.” It is well worth exploring its history and admiring its exquisite mosaics, particularly the famous Tree of Life mural.

In the afternoon, visit the Ock Pop Tok Living Crafts Centre, the perfect place to learn more about Laos’ rich textile and artisanal traditions. End the day with a climb up Mount Phousi, a small hill in the heart of Luang Prabang that offers a spectacular sunset and panoramic views over the city and surrounding mountains.
Free evening and overnight in Luang Prabang.
Early wake-up (around 05:30) to witness the alms-giving ceremony, where lines of monks leave their pagodas to collect offerings, followed by a visit to the local morning market. Return to the hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up for an excursion to the Kuang Si Waterfalls, a series of turquoise pools cascading down multiple levels. Enjoy the beautiful natural scenery and take the opportunity to swim in the refreshing blue waters.
Return to Luang Prabang.
At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
